Our Department

Our Department is made up of 2 full time members and 5 part time members.  We all teach at least 2 languages and in our College we currently teach French, German and Spanish in Years 7-9 with GCSE options in all three languages.  We currenly have a take up of around 60% in Year 10 and 55% in Year 11.  We have also offered Italian, Polish and Portuguese GCSEs with a small number of students taking GCSE in Russian, Urdu and Chinese. 

 

In 2012 the Department had a subject visit from OFSTED and we are proud to say that we were awarded Outstanding in all four categories.
